“Both of my children have attended Children's Center of Damascus since they were 2 years old (the oldest is now 5). They both LOVE this place. I have a hard time getting them to leave every day, they are having so much fun. The teachers are career teachers and are very nurturing and kind. They seem to care about each child's development and progress. My children always developed a special rapport with each of the teachers. My older son has learned so much academically, and also all of the character development things I wanted him to learn such as respect, responsibility, etc. The facilities are very homey-it is not like dropping them off at an institution, like some of the other places I looked at seemed to be. The administration has been very supportive of our needs over the years, too. Even the administrators take a deep interest and know each child in-depth. They attend each event and party in the classrooms, and even came to see each child's special presentation, etc. I can't say enough good things about this place- it is a hidden gem in Damascus. I have moved to Gaithersburg since starting there, and still make the drive to Damascus to bring my kids. I can't imagine bringing them anywhere else.”
